EVO® VISTAshield® DUALSWITCH™ combines the new EVO® VISTA® retractable eyewear helmet technology with the innovative DUALSWITCH™ chinstrap system, fully certified to both EN 397 and EN 12492 with the ability to change between the two standards easily at the flick of a switch.
The VISTAshield® faceshield offers A-rated impact resistance – tested with a 6mm steel ball bearing at speeds of up to 425mph (685kph). The eyewear is interchangeable, allowing users to swap the faceshield for a VISTAlens® overspec, to ensure the appropriate protection is on hand when required.
- Optical Class 1 - High optical quality with no optical distortion
- A - Impact rating. High energy impact; 6mm, 0.86g ball travelling at 425mph (684kph)
- T - Impact resistance at extreme temperatures (Tested at -5°C and +55°C)
- K Rated - Anti-Scratch resistance to surface damage from fine particles
- N Rated - Anti-Mist resistance to fogging
- UV Protection - 2: UV filter (EN 170) provides protection from harmful UV. UV 2C-1.2 2: UV filter (EN 170) provides protection from harmful UV. C: Unimpaired colour perception. 1.2: High light transmission
- Molten Metal Tested - No penetration to helmet shell. Shell deformation must remain under < 10mm
- Lateral Deformation Tested - Additional EN 397 test
- -40°C Tested - The helmet is pretreated in a cold chamber at -40°C for up to 24 hours.
